I needed a book companion and this was extremely helpful. I did have to make adjustments so that it was appropriate for my 4th graders, but it was wonderful to have a jumping point. Thank you so much!

Students read "Pass the Energy, Please!" book and complete this companion guide. The guide allows students to focus on key aspects of ECOLOGY while reading a fun and engaging poetry style book. The books visuals and story format increases student interest.
The experience has built in ENL and special education modifications to allow all learners access to the curriculum (developed with a co-teacher). The experience has been tested and implemented with well over 100 students to ensure quality.
Additional supplies needed: Pass the Energy, Please! books. 1 for each 2-3 students works well. Lesson Time: 45-60 min
